Harry Winston CEO de Narp Resigning
Frédéric de Narp, the president and CEO of Harry Winston, has resigned from the company after three years in the role.
According to a report in the April 1 New York Post, which broke the news, Nayla Hayek, the current chairwoman of new owner Swatch Group, will assume de Narp’s role. However, a Swatch statement said, "We have no further comment as to whom will take over the position of president and CEO of Harry Winston."
Nayla Hayek is the daughter of Swatch Group founder Nicolas G. Hayek, who died in June 2010.
The report also said that de Narp is leaving with a $15 million exit deal. However, the Swatch statement said the company "cannot comment on any agreements that have been taken between former owner of Harry Winston now Dominion Diamond Corporation and Frédéric de Narp. This includes his departure date and exit package."
