What Information is Collected?
During a visit to our website, your privacy is respected. We do not collect personal information about you unless you choose to send us an email, in which you voluntarily provide your name and contact information.
The nature of the Internet is such that it passively and automatically collects certain information about users’ traffic patterns, linked to their Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. These are unique Internet ‘addresses’ assigned to all web users by their Internet Service Providers (ISP). Web servers automatically log IP addresses; while the IP address does not identify an individual directly, with the cooperation of the ISP, it may be used to locate and identify an individual using the web. The IP address is considered personal information because it is an identifying number, and IP addresses are therefore protected by most privacy legislation.
If you do nothing during your visit but browse through the website, read pages, or download information, we will gather and store certain information about your visit automatically. This information does not identify you personally. Only the following information about your visit is collected and stored:
- The Internet domain and IP address from which you access our website;
- The type of browser and operating system used to access our site;
- The date and time you access our site;

Visitors' personal information received via email or the "Contact Us Form" is provided only to Anzi Gems personnel, who require the information to respond to inquiries. We do not use this information for any other purpose. As we cannot guarantee the security of electronic systems or email, we do not recommend sending sensitive personal information or complaints electronically at this time.
Web Hosting
Our website is hosted on servers owned and managed by a third-party; any personal information collected on our behalf by them, such as server log data (see below), is managed in accordance with this privacy policy, and is protected by applicable law.
Server Logs
Our servers automatically log information about visits to our website in the normal course of establishing and maintaining web connections. Server logs record statistical information, such as visitors' IP addresses, type of operating systems, time and duration of visit, and web pages requested. They also identify categories of visitors by items such as domains and browser types. These statistics are reported in aggregate form to our web and communications staff, and are used to improve our website and ensure that it provides an optimal user experience for visitors.
We do not link server log information to any other data in a way that would enable us to identify individual visitors. However, we may review server logs for security purposes, such as to detect intrusions into our network, or other criminal activity. The possibility therefore exists that server log data, including visitors' IP addresses, could be used to trace and identify individuals. In such instances, raw data logs would be shared with those bodies, such as police personnel, authorized to investigate such breaches of security.
No Synthetic Diamonds
When you buy diamonds from Anzi Gems Inc., you can buy with confidence. We do not tolerate undisclosed synthetic diamonds in our inventory. We screen all diamonds from .20+ carats for synthetics and require all our loose diamond and diamond set jewelry suppliers to warrant that they are not supplying us with synthetics. For additional security, we further stipulate that our vendors screen all diamonds from .20+carats for synthetics. In 2014 when the technology is available, we will screen all diamonds 1.4mm+ for synthetics.
No Conflict Diamonds
We are committed to selling diamonds ethically and with integrity, giving you confidence in the diamonds you purchase. We believe it is completely unacceptable to tolerate conflict diamonds and/or human suffering in any way and we fully support the Kimberley process. Anzi Gems Inc. offers this commitment to you. In turn, it can act as your commitment to your customers.
All rough and polished diamonds sold by Anzi Gems Inc. comply with the Kimberley Process. The Kimberley Process ensures that rough diamonds are:
- Exported and imported with a government validated Kimberly Process certificate stating the diamonds are conflict-free.
- Transported between signatory countries in a sealed and tamper-proof container.
- Sold with a statement from the seller (known as a warranty) on all invoices guaranteeing that the diamonds being sold are conflict-free.
